Register as an Alley Rally 2021 Vendor

Dear Neighbor,

Summer is here. We hope you’re enjoying it – ice tea on the patio, cones at the Dutch Udder or the Snowman, walks by the river. Summer does always seem to fly by, though, so we encourage you to register now as a vender with Alley Rally 2021, so you can be leisurely about sorting the things you may want to sell.

This year’s neighborhood-wide “garage” sale will take place for the fourth time in South Central Troy on the Saturday before Labor Day - August 28, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Rain date: August 29, 10 – 2).

Registration. When you register, your personal information will remain secure. Don Bell is the sole keeper of your name and email address. He will simply use your street address to generate a Google map a couple of days before the event. A link to the map will be sent to all registered venders and also be posted on online advertising sites. Visitors will be able to access this map from their phones.

Promotion. We are asking everyone to help this year with promotion and are providing a Toolkit that will enable venders to promote the event themselves. Included in the Toolkit are:  a flier, general map of the Alley Rally area, important guidelines for venders and links to online advertising sites that venders can use themselves to promote their sales.

The organizing team will announce the event through neighborhood newsletters, Next Door, online advertising sites and the city’s website. On the day of the event, we will place bright orange placards in key places around the neighborhood to highlight the event and help visitors find their way.

We encourage you to talk up the Alley Rally with your neighbors so together you can create a lively grouping of venders. Please share the registration and Toolkit links with them.
